The VFX Club Student Outreach
OUR MISSION
Collectively hoping for more diversity in VFX, but not feeling the change happening fast enough on the studio floor, we recognized the need for direct action and going deeper to address representation. We are working to collaborate with local schools and communities to provide resources and organize after-school programs for youth interested in visual effects and animation, and providing more opportunities for education and growth within the BIPOC community. Our goal is to support the next generation of creative professionals by creating a safe space where youth can develop personal confidence through their work, and encourage team building and cooperation with their peers. We hope to spark imagination and will be there to guide them in their early years of becoming outstanding artists!
